Retail Employees Credit Union staff went green in celebration of Earth Day! Credit union employees teamed up with Macy's volunteers to clean up the Powers Island region of the Chattahoochee National Park. The half day event included fence painting, spreading gravel and removing trash from the trails and river. Tracy Moreland, who coordinated the event for RECU said "The scenery was fantastic and everyone was working really hard and having fun at the same time. Afterwards we just walked the trail and enjoyed the scenery. It was truly a breath of fresh air." Mike Anderson agreed stating "This was a fun and rewarding experience for me. There is no better feeling than helping out in your community."
