REAL Sources

REAL Sources is informational resources designed to improve consumer financial knowledge with the goal of empowering individuals to make good choices that affect their personal financial circumstances. Below are examples of REAL Sources grouped by specific activities.

  FoolProof: FoolProof uses highly interactive online "modules" and dynamic web sites to reach both members and non-members.
  NEFE - National Endowment for Financial Education, High School Financial Planning Program: Carefully designed exercises and activities suitable for high school students and designed to be taught in a school setting.

MEMBER COUNSELING:
  PRIORITY SOURCES:
  Accel: ACCEL provides three one-on-one, on-the-spot phone counseling with members, resources and educational tools (mostly provided online), the Budget Smart budgeting software, and additional support services.
  Balance: Balance is a financial counseling and education program geared to high school students through adults. The program offers the online educational component and Balance Track, which is the counseling component of the service.
