Room Cancellation Policy
Hotel policy requires a two-night deposit at the time of room reservation. If your reservation is cancelled after April 5th, with no substitution, you will forfeit two nights' room deposit. Guests who check out early (prior to the reserved check-out date) will be assessed two full nights' room charge, plus applicable taxes.

Convention Highlights

CUPAC Silent Auction
All participating credit unions are asked to bring several items with a retail value of at least $50 each. Items are auctioned off to the highest bidder and the proceeds are given to Georgia CUPAC. Items will be accepted at the registration booth beginning Thursday at 8:00 a.m., and winning bids will be announced during the banquet on Friday, May 7th. Individuals are also encouraged to bring auction items.

Georgia CUPAC/CULAC are the state and federal political action committees (PACs) for credit unions. Contributions to Georgia CUPAC/CULAC are not tax deductible for federal income purposes and are distributed in a 60/40 split between the two PACs. Contributions are strictly voluntary and you have the right to refuse to contribute without reprisal. Contributions from individuals outside of the solicitable class will be returned. The Federal election law requires us to report the name, address, occupation and/or name of employer for individuals who contribute $200 or more in a calendar year.

CUPAC Annual Golf Tournament
Tee off is at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5th at The Club at Savannah Harbor. The tournament is a shotgun format and awards will be given to the top three teams, longest drive and closest to the pin. Mulligans will be available for purchase to improve your score and contribute to the Georgia CUPAC cause. The registration fee is $175 and includes lunch. Please refer to the conference registration form for further details.

GCUF Scholarships
Three scholarships of $800 each are available to credit unions under $35 million in assets and will be given away at the 2010 Annual Convention. To apply, please call Dan Denning at (678) 542-3425 or (800) 768-4282 ext. 3425 or apply online at www.gcua.org. Application deadline is April 5, 2010.

Moses C. Davis Awards Dinner
Enjoy a delightful dinner as we celebrate and acknowledge the accomplishments of Georgia credit union executives and volunteers. Get ready to tap your toes and dance the night away with the exciting performers, Big Swing and the Ballroom Blasters. Their high-energy performance will leave you breathless.

Exhibit Hall Activities
The exhibit hall, located in the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center, is an interactive experience which allows attendees opportunities to engage with vendors. Learn about new or enhanced products your credit union can offer your members.

Broadcast of "Home and Family Finance Radio Show"
Join radio personality and legendary journalist Paul Berry as he hosts this popular radio broadcast with you as the "studio" audience. Berry and his panel of experts will discuss current personal financial topics and invite audience participation during a lively Q&A session.

Companion Program
Companions of registered attendees are invited to participate in the Companion Program, which includes meals, the Reception on Thursday and entertainment on Friday. The sightseeing tour is sold separately.

Sightseeing Tour (Civil War Tour of Savannah)
Companions will enjoy a guided tour of the Green-Meldrim House and Savannah's antebellum prosperity. Lunch will take place at Vic's On the River which overlooks the Savannah River and historic River Street. Vic's menu reflects Savannah's Southern charm with their take on traditional Southern food and their fresh seafood selections.
