Spokesperson Program

The purpose of the Georgia Credit Union Affiliates Spokesperson Program is to build public awareness of credit unions. In light of many issues faced by credit unions today, there is a need to effectively communicate consistent messages to key audiences so they understand what credit unions are, how credit unions differ from banks, why we deserve our current tax exempt status, and how we serve the needs of our members.

The value that spokespersons bring is their professionalism, knowledge, availability, and willingness to share the credit union principles and messages when requested.
