As President and CEO of B.O.N.D. Community Federal Credit Union, Ruth Artis has 29 years of financial and executive management experience with three credit unions. During her 19-year tenure with B.O.N.D. she has led the growth from $6 million to $34 million in assets. 

Artis serves on several boards within the Georgia credit union community, including Treasurer of the Georgia Credit Union League (GCUL) Board of Directors; Chair for the Georgia Credit Union Affiliates (GCUA) Philosophy in Action Committee; and Chair of the Georgia Credit Union Foundation. She is an active member of the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU), and is a member of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) and the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions (NFCDCU). She holds a B.A. in Management from Troy State University.

Artis has won numerous awards during her tenure with the credit union, including the Moses C. Davis Professional of the Year Award for the Greater Atlanta Chapter. In addition, she serves as Treasurer of the Little Five Points Business Association, is a volunteer with the Fernbank Museum of History and a volunteer at Historic Oakland Cemetery.
