Campaign Support

The grassroots power of credit unions and their memberships can be felt strongly in the direct support of political campaigns at both the state and national level. Assistance is provided through direct campaign activities as well as political donations made through the Political Action Committees. Credit unions and their members have provided hands-on campaign help by attending political events, volunteering in envelope stuffing and postcard mailing programs, phone banking and distributing and/or displaying yard signs. Credit unions coordinate branch tours with candidates, place articles in newsletters about the visits or legislators who support the credit union movement.

Through these efforts and others, credit unions and their membership have logged countless hours and energy into the campaigns of many now-elected officials who recognize the value of credit unions!
