The Affiliates’ Advocacy Team communicates with a variety of audiences, as well as provides credit unions with tools, templates, talking points and other resources to tell their stories and cultivate relationships with local media and consumer groups. |

REAL Deal Campaign |
| |
The REAL Deal Outreach Campaign is a framework of four areas where credit unions help people to have the knowledge to make good financial decisions and provide them with tangible programs that really help! The four areas of focus are Real Sources, Real Programs, Real Community Help/Outreach, and Real Partnerships. By participating in at least three of the four areas of focus, credit unions are more than credit unions, they are REAL Deal Credit Unions! |

Global Cooperative Principles for Credit Unions |
| |
After
several months of exposure to direct credit union feedback,
the following "short list" of cooperative principles was
adopted by the Georgia Credit Union League Board of Directors
in November 2001. It is anticipated that each individual
credit union will have unique motivational constructs, but
the principles enumerated are considered to be fundamental
to the motivation structure at all Georgia credit unions. |
